Quick crossword No 339

Not getting comments on this one — is that a good or bad sign? Want to ask about 1A and 10A, 7D, can horror be a part of cryptic crosswords?

I'll just guess the crossword isn't that good, waited 10 hours and not a comment in sight... which means no new solvers and that the puzzle probably got buried/hidden somehow... I just wish the puzzle could've been appreciated more
