Featured crossword No 7

Wonderful! Beaten by 18a, 20d and 26d but the rest went in very smoothly. Some lovely bits of invention and new-to-me indicators making this a very refreshing accompaniment to breakfast. Personal selection: 3a, 14a, 21a, 19a(very neat!), 25a, 1d (nice misdirection), 9d (chuckle-raising even though not altogether original), 16d, 22d, & 27d. Thanks Coot.

Excellent addition to the featured slot. I especially liked 1a,16a,21a (fab surface),29a, 1d,6d,8d,23d. And 9d made me smile, even if it been done before (and what is ever truly new)?

Fun and funny, thanks Coot. I'll comment at Fifteensquared later but wanted to quickly compliment you and 19a, 26d (my fave), 4d (context dependent, I like 'has' both ways), 7d, 22d, 28a which successfully suckered me in, and my LOI 27a. Thanks again : )

Excellent Coot! Got everything though haven't manage to parse 9D and 20D. Many great clues, my particular favourites were 13A, 28A, 29A, 5D, 6D and 26D though there were ticks for plenty of others too!

I have two and a half left but wanted to comment before I forget - really enjoyed that thank you! Good fun as always, I do love a Coot puzzle!
