Cryptic crossword No 3,262

Congratulations on the milestone, I really enjoyed this. Loved the many themers, especially 1a and 12d. The combo of 9a and 21a was a fun headscratcher. 29a perfect interplay of surface and solution. Also liked 14d,20d. But my fave of all was 28a, bravo!

Yep, Happy Anniversary Baz and thanks for a fittingly sparkly crossword. Apart from failing with 14d I echo everything Kate said, adding 22a, 6d and 7d to her list of favourites. I think my cotd was first one in, 1a. And who knew 11a was a word! Spoilerettes below…
