Cryptic crossword No 3,246

Thanks Podger and welcome to MyC. I thought this was an ambitious debut with some good clues like 14a, 18a, 2d (COTD), 17d, and 19d. I failed to solve 6d, 13a, and 22a; there were others I couldn't fully parse due to subject matter unfamiliar to me. More in reply.

Welcome to MyC, Podger! I’ve been here almost a year myself and have learned a lot from fellow setters, many of whom have kindly & generously tested my puzzles.
