Cryptic crossword No 3,233

Hi Vellum and welcome on board! Congratulations on a very presentable debut puzzle with a variety of nifty clues and some good surface readings. I particularly liked 11a, 25a, 1d, 5d, 10d, & 14d. 15d passed me by, and here as elsewhere I would have appreciated having your annotations (as are normally included with puzzles here - once written they need a tick in the blue Actions box top right for them to appear.) A few observations below:
