Good fun, Henri. I was certainly 22 for this. Nice use of theme. 17d, 18d and 22d my podium. Thanks. PM

Thanks Henri for a satisfying crossword. I nearly skipped this when I saw the number of cross-referenced clues but I gave it a go and actually liked it. I only revealed two, 5d & 19d; I guessed but failed to parse 18d & 23d. Favourites included 12a, 13a, 15a, 1d, 14d, and 17d. Questions in reply.

So with my own setting I often don’t see what’s wrong, but with yours I consistently see what’s right. Pretty much all of it basically, so no special faves from me today. But thanks for being so inspiring! And not to be too flattering, I initially had a different answer for 1d which I think was valid. Maybe comes from being a woodworker…

Hi Henri, a stiff challenge for me with a few nho answers and tricksy constructions but the theme and some entertaining clues made it worth sticking with to the end. Favourites this time were 12a, 16a, 1d, 14d & 17d. Cheers

I found it really hard to get going here but I'm glad I persisted. Was neat as the 8 22s emerged, a couple NHO but clearly clued. Faves included 4a,15a,24a and 1d,14d,18d
