Cryptic crossword No 3,145

Thanks LeoNessie, this was an enjoyable puzzle. Struggled a bit to finish but got there in the end! Favourites were 9a, 13a (nice surface), 24a, 3d and 18d.

Hi LeoNessie - I've needed two or three goes at this today but this reflects my solving skills more than the clues which were all solid once I caught on. Favourites I think would be 9a, 14a, 27a and 23d...
