Hi Orinoco, I found this to be quite similar in style and difficulty to your previous offering - great surfaces with tricksy wordplay in places. I particularly appreciated 8a, 20a, 4d, 5d, 22d among others. A bit more detail in reply, spoiler alert...

Thanks Orinoco. I gave this a shot but there were quite a few clues that were beyond me. I enjoyed 4d (definition), 5d, 15d (wordplay mechanism), 16d, and 22d. i agree with the points made by Ozpiper & PostMark.
